OSI® RT-1000™ Elastomeric Roof Sealant OSI® RT-1000™ Elastomeric Roof Sealant is a premium roof cement made of a unique blend of high quality rubbers and resins to create a sealant that is UV resistant, flexible, non-hardening and has excellent adhesion characteristics to most common roofing materials. RT-1000 can be applied in temperatures below 20°F (-7°C) and even adheres to wet surfaces.

OSI® RT-1000™ Elastomeric Roof Sealant is ideal for sealing and patching cracks in roof surfaces. It can be used as a flashing sealant to seal around straight and step flashing & roof penetrations. RT-1000 has excellent adhesion to brick, metal, asphalt shingles & fiberglass and for use around chimneys, skylights, flashing and joints.
Not Recommended for
- Use as a traffic bearing sealant
- Continuous water immersion
- Bonding, polystyrene foams and polypropylene or polyethylene plastics
- Applications as an expansion joint control sealant
- Use inside occupied structures or in enclosed spaces
- Use on log homes
- Joints deeper than 3/8" (9.5 mm) without the use of backing material
