OSI® SF-450 Heavy Duty SubFloor & Construction Adhesive OSI® SF-450 Heavy Duty SubFloor & Construction Adhesive is a premium heavy-duty grade adhesive developed for glued floor systems. If offers an improved cold weather formula to provide excellent adhesion and easier extrusion under all weather conditions. SF-450 was formulated to help eliminate the "roll-up" effect. It forms a permanent waterproof and weatherproof bond to dry, wet, frozen and treated lumber to most building materials. SF-450 exceeds the requirements of AFG-01 and ASTM D 3498.

OSI® SF-450 Heavy-Duty Subfloor & Construction Adhesive is recommended for in most interior and exterior construction projects, either on the job or in the production line. It bonds all wood to wood assemblies dry, wet or frozen. It is designed for on-site bonding of subfloor and plywood decking joists, even in cold weather. SF-450 is suitable for use in drywall, plaster, metal, masonry, concrete, brick, ceramic tile, slate, treated lumber and most other projects requiring an adhesive. It is ideal for use in prefab or modular construction.
Not Recommended for
- Mirrors, tub and shower surrounds
- Polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and acrylic
- Applications requiring temperature resistance greater than 150°F or below -20°F
- Unlined expanded or extruded polystyrene plastic foams
- Permanent water immersion
