OSI® VP-275™ Multi Purpose 100% Silicone Sealant OSI® VP-275™ Multi Purpose 100% Silicone Sealant is a neutral cure, low modulus, 100% silicone sealant. The high performance characteristics provide excellent primerless adhesion to most non-porous and porous building materials. The product cures at room temperature by reaction with moisture in the air to produce a permanently flexible seal that is weatherproof and waterproof. VP-275 offers superior resistance to oxidation, UV light, temperature variations and is non-corrosive to most metals. It withstands extention/compression movement up to +/- 25% of the original joint width. It is solvent-free and toxic-free. VP-275 can be easily applied at temperatures from 0°F (-18°C) to 110°F (43°C).

OSI® VP-275™ Multi Purpose 100% Silicone Sealant is for expansion joints, metal curtain walls and modular component applications, glazing of glass and perimeter sealing. Bonds to PVC Siding and Windows, Wood, Metal, Glass, Ceramic, Tiles, Brick, Brass, Concrete, Mortar, some Plastics and other common building materials.
Not Recommended for
- Sealing marble or granite surfaces
- Applications in totally confined or air-free spaces
- Sealing green or vulcanized rubber
- Horizontal joints or traffic bearing joints where abrasion resistance is required (i.e. walkways, driveways, runways, etc)
- Joints subject to continuous water immersion (i.e. swimming pools, boats, etc)
- Use with potable water systems
- Direct contact on the reflective coatings on mirrors
- Applications requiring painting (Paint will not adhere to silicone)
