OSI proudly sponsors Pro-Angler Frank Scalish and has done so each year since 2003. Frank has fished professionally for many years on the Bass Master Southern Opens, Northern Opens and the FLW BP Eastern Tournament Series. Plus, Frank was on the Bassmaster Elite Series in the 2006-2007 season. During the 2008-2009 season, Frank battled his way back to the top. He won the 2008-2009 season-long points race by a huge margin of 120 points. This qualified him for the 2010 Bassmaster Classic, which took place on February 19-21, 2010 on Lay Lake in Birmingham, AL. His achievement has also once again landed him in the Top 100! We here at OSI are thrilled with Frank's accomplishments!
Over the years, Frank has had many career highlights including, but not limited to, Bassmaster Rookie of the Year in 2002, first place in the 2004 Bassmaster Invitational Buffalo Lake Erie, and in 2009 for the Bassmaster Northern Opens, he placed 2nd at Champlain, 3rd at Lake Erie and 3rd at Chesapeak Bay. In 2009 he also captured the prestigious title of Bassmaster Northern Opens Angler of the Year.
